CIME Summer School
THE MATHEMATICS OF MECHANOBIOLOGY
Mechanics and biology interact to determine patterns, shapes, to regulate growth and remodeling, to drive motion and function. The mathematical representation of the mechanobiological laws offers a challenge for modeling and analysis. The numerical simulation of the equations of physiology is a formidable task.
During this summer school leading scientists in the mathematical and numerical modeling will provide a unique view of the state of the art in the field. The summer school will be hosted in the fascinating location of Cetraro, Italy. |
